U.S. Classic Guitar President William Jenks is excited to present Croatian guitar virtuoso Ana Vidovic
A former student of Manuel Barrueco, Vidovic is arguably one of greatest guitar virtuosos in the world and has become a favorite among audiences. She was performing publicly by age 7, and internationally by age 11. By age 13 she became the youngest student to attend the prestigious National Musical Academy in Zagreb, where she studied with Professor Istvan Romer. David Williams of the Charleston Gazette identified Vidovic as a “soloist [who] can really grab the audience and draw them in […] with a gorgeous sound and finely pointed rhythm.” Vidovic has already given over one thousand public performances. She has also won an impressive number of prizes and international competitions all over the world.

The Lake Oswego Lake Run is a fundraiser for Northwest Housing Alternatives offering a 10k, 5k and Kids Dash and sponsored by the City of Lake Oswego.
ROAD CLOSURES
As a result of the race, there will be temporary road closures and reductions for about 30-90 minutes after 8am. This includes:
State Street traveling south temporarily reduced to one lane.
North Shore temporarily reduced to one way traveling east. Closed to westbound traffic.
McVey temporarily reduced to one way traveling east. Closed to westbound traffic.
South Shore temporarily reduced to one way traveling east. Closed to westbound traffic.
Lake View Blvd reduced to one way traveling west. East bound traffic closed between South Shore and Iron Mtn. Blvd.
Iron Mtn Blvd temporarily closed between Berwick and roundabout.
Berwick Road temporarily reduced to one way traveling east. Closed to westbound traffic.
In addition, Evergreen Road will be closed to traffic between 1st-4th Streets from 8am-11am and there will be no parking on these streets will be between 6am-11am.

Oregon Wine Walk

The Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first Lake Grove “Oregon Wine Walk” This event will feature Oregon wines from around the region in the restaurants and shops of this recently improved business district.
The “Oregon Wine Walk” will highlight the beauty and vibrancy of our Lake Grove Village Center along Boones Ferry Road. It leverages the format and experience of the Chamber’s downtown LO Wine Walk (October), which has seen increased participation and frequent sell outs since the first one in 2015. Most recently, 2023 sold out at 800 guests and 39 pouring locations.
Join Us! The “Oregon Wine Walk” will have up to 400 participants and 20 pouring locations. Tickets are now available on our website (lakeoswegochamber.com) – Early Bird pricing of just $40 is available through April 30. Tickets jump to $50 on May 1. Don’t miss out; NOW is the time to sign-up to participate in this fun event!
